New Website, New Season! New Changes & An Update…

March 7, 2022

March 6, 2022 – The 2022 summer season is nearly upon us.  Anglerfish Marketing just released the new version of the Talkeetna Love-Lee Cabins website earlier this week and I couldn’t be happier with what they did.  Please leave a comment in the contact form to tell me what you think of it.

For 2022, all indications are that the Alaska summer tourism season is on track to be a very busy one.  However, I think many of us are holding are breath on calling that too early.  It seems global events have shuffled COVID to a back burner so that we can focus on the MSM 24-7 feature presentation on tensions building on the world stage.  That being said, supply chain inflation abounds globally along with staffing shortages that are carry overs from the pandemic.  Today, we feel the crunch of high fuel prices at the pump which will undoubtedly extend its reach to the airlines and travel costs.

One change I have made for this year is that MY PRICES HAVE GONE UP IF YOUR ARE BOOKING THROUGH AN ONLINE TRAVEL AGENCY (OTA) such as, Expedia, VRBO, etc.  Without trying to gouge the market, yet maintain with the rising inflation, I raised OTA prices by the amount of commission I pay them each month for reservations.  You will find that IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO BOOK DIRECTLY THROUGH THIS WEBSITE for your Talkeetna Cabin Rental needs and avoid the commission upcharge.

Also, please remember, Talkeetna Love-Lee Cabins TLC is a terrific place to call your home-base while visiting Alaska.  It is situated nearly in the middle of the Anchorage to Denali corridor of the Parks Highway.  People are enjoying leaving their cabin settled, taking a day trip for the Denali Bus Tour to the north, and then Hatcher’s Pass or Matanuska Glacier to the south the next day.  Also, there are plenty of flight and river tours, zip lines, biking, hiking, fishing right here in Talkeetna.  Our modern cabins are clean, fully equipped and furnished kitchens, jetted tubs, linens, towels, soap.  We have outdoor BBQ, screened-in fire pit, outdoor games, and close to the paved bike trail to downtown.

Please feel free to check out the site and let me know what you think.  You can book a cabin from most pages here or you can always call with questions at 907-947-8009.
